Legal Question in Criminal Law in Virginia
My son is 4 months into a 251 disposition and is currently working full time. His probation officer is telling him that he is required to inform his employer of his disposition. However, he had been employed prior to his disposition and was not dishonest on his job application. Is he required to inform them?

So, what's the probation officer's authority for this assertion? Until such can
be credibly provided, it should be ignored (in my opinion).
