Legal Question in Criminal Law in Virginia

Son given wrong sentence for crime

My son recently pled ''no contest'' to the charge of Cosp. to distribute Schedule II narcotics...1st offense. No previous criminal activity. He is age 21. Sentence 5 yr. (suspended) after attending a detention and boot camp program. Because of the delays in scheduling he was sent to the detention center first and now has to attend a boot camp (which is a step backward) I am trying to get his 2nd boot camp changed to a diversion center which would be astep forward instead of backward...(the original pre-sentence report suggested only a dentention center0 however the judge decided to sentence him to both programs... What are my chances of getting this changed? (my son is 21 years old). He has done excellent in the detention center, no problems w/ dicipline, etc.
