Legal Question in Criminal Law in Virginia

My son's ex-girlfriend recently had a protective order issued against him claiming abuse after he left their residence. She reported an "incident" and had him arrested and caused him a lot of legal trouble. An hour after the protective order was issued, she attempted to call him all night on our phones and tried to contact him on his social web page..since then, she calls my house phone, all family members cell phones, and leaves text and voice messages at all hours of the day and night. I have asked her to stop - to no avail. She tries to hide her phone ID by blocking the Caller ID but I have a computer program which unscrambles the blocked call and shows her number. She also calls his friends to gain information on his whereabouts and spreads vicious rumors about his character. She spreads rumors that they are married, threatens his current girlfriend, claims he is the father of her child (DNA test proved he is not). She follows us when we leave the home, I have had flat tires on my vehicle but can't prove she did it. She drives us crazy.

Can somebody advise me as to what legal recourse I may have?

Sounds like harassment via the telephone or even, perhaps, a violation of Virginia's criminal stalking statute. If the former, this alleged violator should be reported to your local telephone service provider for investigation and if there's enough evidence for the latter, a criminal complaint lodged with the local magistrate.
