My spouse was charged with assault and in jail now for 40 days he has fines to pay but and may have probation for this charge. i live in ny he is in va. can he move to ny while on probation?

Yes, if the Virginia probation office assigned to his case approves, his
supervised probation could be transferred to an appropriate probation office
in New York.
