Legal Question in Criminal Law in Virginia
In the state of Virginia, can I be forced to testify against my husband in a domestic violence case. The prosecutor wants to call me as a witness.

Yes, if you were the victim of the domestic violence, the so-called
marital privilege applicable to spouses does not apply to situations
where the spouse whose testimony is being sought by prosecutors is also the victim of the criminal conduct with which the other spouse has been charged.
