Legal Question in Criminal Law in Virginia
In the state of Virginia... I paid a partial payment on my retainer fee for my lawyer he agreed to accept that and the rest at a later date. If I fail to pay him in full by the tme agreed to can he drop me as a client ..... Or is it possible to make other arrangements to pay him the rest of the retainer without being dropped as his client, I am not expecting him to work for free Just need a little more time to come up with the remainder of the fee as my first option fell through last minute. Is it possible to do this or am I just fighting a loosing battle?

If you need to make additional payment arrangements, you need to discuss the issue w/ your attorney. Only he would know what he would or would not be willing to do to accommodate you.
