Statitory Rape in Virginia
I was out with this girl and she was 15 and i am 18... Her mother did not know where she was that night so she called the cops... all the mother wanted to know was where her daughter was and the cop turned it into some Statitory Rape thing. the cop told me that me hanging out with her was Statitory Rape... What are all the laws to statitory rape in Virginia?

Statutory rape, as its called, is "carnal knowledge" without force (other rapes need force) of a child 13 to 15 yrs.
That means having sexual intercourse. Not simply stying the night, or being in her company etc. Penalties depend on her age and yours. If she is more than 3 yrs younger than you, and she consents
to the sexual intercourse, then its a felony, if she is less than 3 yrs. younger, its a misdomeanor
