statute of limitations
Is there a statuate of limitations for a capias that was ordered by Arlington county Aug. 2003, when I was not notified I was to be in court, either by the couts of by the attorney I have hired?

Depends on what the underlying charge is, but if I were you, I would not be depending upon a statute of limitations to extricate me from what appears to be your current legal imbroglio.
That means, yep, you (or your defense counsel)must contact the appropriate authorities very soon to get this matter settled.
