Legal Question in Criminal Law in Virginia
My step-dad assaulted my 15 yr old daughter and threatened to kill her. He also put his hands on my 6 yr old as well.He threatened to kill her as well. What can I do and what can be done??

Well, for starters, you might consider calling the police or Sheriff's Department that serves your local area.

#1) Keep your kids away from him.
#2) Call the police.
#3) When you talk to the police, tell them you want to get a protective order.
