Legal Question in Criminal Law in Virginia
Stolen Identity
A family member filed her income tax on line. She has no checking or saving account, so she uses my checking account without my permission or acknowledge, which resulted in her
her refund being mailed to my account. What law is she guilty of and what legal action can I take against her. Does
this come federal or state law. Thank you.

Re: Stolen Identity
It would appear that your time could be more productively spent than in worrying about how one of your relatives might be prosecuted for something which, apparently, caused no loss to either you or anyone else.
