Legal Question in Criminal Law in Virginia

I have been subpoenaed to testify at a Grand Jury hearing. It is located out of town and takes me a long while to get there. I have gone twice and the case has been continued. I do not have the answers the CA thinks I have. I am tired of driving back and forth. I am constantly being threatened with jail if I do not tell them what they think I know. I cannot do that if I don't know anything.

DO I HAVE ANY RIGHTS CONCERNING THIS? I would just like to be deposition ed in my town or just left alone.

You may want to consider retaining an attorney in this matter, but the reality is

that if you fail to comply with the subpoena, you could face contempt of court charges.
