Legal Question in Criminal Law in Virginia
Hi ! I got a ticket for reckless driving 70/45 in Virginia and also a ticket for child under the age of 8 at the same time. What Should I do ? It was my sister and her child, she never travelled with me, she always used to go with my sister, that was the first time I took her with me and also because they were waiting in cold outside a mall and there was no else to pick them up because my sister who she usually goes with was not there. She was with me in my car. So, I went to pick her up and obviously I did not have a car seat since she does not go in my car. Due to cold and waiting outside, my sister was feeling pain so thats why I was also speeding to get to the hospital so that a doctor can help.

Get a lawyer to explain it all in your behalf to the prosecutor before trial, and, then, if necessary, later to the judge as your defense counsel in the trial of the full case.
