Legal Question in Criminal Law in Virginia
First time felon
I am a 23 year old single mother in 2005 I was convicted of Felony embezzlement and was required to 8 years uniformed probation and no jail time this was the only thing i have ever had on my record and now im afraid that this one mistake can ruin any cyhances of getting any other job. Is there anything I can do about getting this taken off my record after i pay my restatution off?

Re: First time felon
Because this is a conviction, you are not eligible for an expungement. This will remain on your record and you will have to disclose it when asked.
