how much time
someone came to my house with a shotgun and shot at my friend missed, How much time can this person get.

Depends upon how it's charged. Shooting at someone with a shotgun could get the shooter charged with attempted murder or some other form of homicide. Either way, a conviction on such a charge could mean a long time in the slammer for the perpetrator. The slammer in this case would not be the local jailhouse but rather the penitentiary.
