Legal Question in Criminal Law in Virginia
Time served
If a person is given an 18-month sentence in Virginia, how much time has to be served before they are released? Does a trustee position help reduce sentenced time in Virginia?

Re: Time served
A fair estimate would likely be 88 to 90% of the
total 18 months which would likely include any good time given for being a trustee.
