Legal Question in Criminal Law in Virginia
undercover rules
This may sound absurd but I was wondering if, in undercover prostitution stings, are police allowed to use ads featuring nudity? Would the case be thrown out if someone was arrested for soliciting and it cam back that they saw an ad set up by undercovers featuring nudity?

Re: undercover rules
What kinds of ads, specifically, and where are questions that probably need to be asked, but since it would be unlikely that these ads would be the sole inducement for the person charged to have engaged in the illicit activity, the answers to your questions, respectively, are quite likely, yes, and no.
