unjust suspension
can a school system suspend a student for possesion of a prescription drug when the student in question was not possesing the substance at anytime and no evidence points to them ever beign in possesion of the illegal substance

Sure, the school system can make a mistake, just like a judge or jury adjudicating the guilt or innocence of a defendant formally charged with a crime. Unfortunately, however, if a criminal defendant is unjustly convicted of a crime, at least he or she normally has a means to appeal the adverse decision, which probably is not true in the case of the suspended student.
