Unpaid check summons

I received notification in the mail that I had an upaid check at a convience store. I was in the hospital and didn't receive this information until after it was too late. I immediately called the store and paid the check in full. It was a complete lack of communication. Do I still have to appear in court?

You should contact the Office of the Commonwealth Attorney responsible for this matter and

explain the circumstances and, perhaps, they'll

move to dismiss the matter.

Otherwise, you'll have to appear in court at the

date and time specified on the warrant or summons,

and you may require the services of a criminal defense practitioner.
