Legal Question in Criminal Law in Virginia
I am a victim of domestic violence, but during the assault I blacked out & apparently scratched his face. He threatened to do a cross warrant for my arrest (8.5 months after the fact) if I pursued the case. The commonwealth attorney did a null process. Does that mean an assault charge will always show up on his criminal background checks?

Yes, quite likely for his arrest, unless he has the record expunged.
