Legal Question in Criminal Law in Virginia

Violation of Probation

I was put on probation in 99 and received a violation of probation in 01 and have a capias, which I just found out about from researching. Since then I have had a job, bought a house, got married, stayed out of trouble, been to the dmv etc.Im not sure what I should do, or why I was never arrested since obviously I have not been hiding or anything.
