what does it mean if the virginia court case information web site says that an appeal has been granted by the three judge panel? it had been denied by the single judge in the first step and sent directly to the pane for review. 2 months later it says that it was granted

Probably, that the three judge panel of the Virginia Court of Appeals

has reversed/overridden the decision of the first appellate court judge and has

now decided to grant the appeal from the decision of the trial (circuit) court.
