Legal Question in Criminal Law in Virginia
what are they waiting on.
82 days ago i was questioned as a suspect in a sex abuse case. i took a dna test which came back not tied with the person who was abused. they say she has genital warts that is a std transmission. i'm told they can do a biopsy of me and confirm i gave her this or exclude me if i don't have it. why would they not go on and check me for this. also can someone tell me what it means when a court case is pending.

I can't answer any question which asks why police do or do not do something reasonable. If you were my client I wouldn't let you take medical tests for the government. Should it turn up evidence against you, you've just handed the government a conviction.
A crimial case is pending when a warrant for arrest has been issued by a law enforcement officer and the case is put on the court's docket for several types of hearings: usually first an arraignment, then if a felony, a preliminary hearing or if a misdemeanor a general dstrict court trial.
Good luck

A case pending before a court is one that has been filed but not yet decided.
From your having to ask this particular question, I can only conclude that you're at least 82 days late in engaging the services of a competent defense counsel to represent(and advise) you in this matter.
