If i have a warrant in chesapeake va and i live in va beach va, will they send va beach police to get me

There is no law that really governs that question - it's more about practicality. Practically speaking, if it is a serious offense then yes, they would request that the Virginia Beach Police assist in the arrest. If it is not, it may just sit as a active warrant waiting for you to either turn yourself in or until you encounter the police for some reason (say in a traffic stop). But it will not simply go away. If you know it exists and is active, it is best that you deal with it directly.
