Legal Question in Criminal Law in Virginia
Me and my wife just found out that a mechanic that we had owed money to, filed charges after he was paid in full. I have irrefutable proof that he has been long paid off. So now my wife has a felony - BAD CHECK: LARCENY >=$200 charge and is a fugitive. We live 11 hours away from where this all took place and she is 4 months pregnant. What are our/her options at this point? Is there a way we can submit the proof and get the charge expunged?

No, your wife needs a competent criminal defense counsel to represent her
in this matter and it is unlikely to be settled at this stage by merely "shuffling some paper" through the mails (my opinion).
