Legal Question in Criminal Law in Virginia
my wife has a possession charge in Virginia.her guidelines call for one year four months.a plea has been offered for six months.i was with her in the vehicale when she got the charge.could I take the charge and get her off?also my record has five felonies.what would I be looking at?would I be offered the same plea?

No, not likely, Furthermore, no prosecutor could possibly agree to this kind of plea deal arrangement and still be in compliance with the Virginia Rules of Professional Responsibility which govern the conduct of all attorneys actively engaged in the practice of law in the Commonwealth (in my opinion).
