The punishment for an unclassified felony in the Commonwealth, i.e., a U felony

is specified in the specific statute criminalizing the offense charged and until you clarify the nature of the crime with which you've been charged, an answer cannot be given here.

However, you could also find the Code of Virginia online and go into Title 18.2 (CRIMES AND OFFENSES GENERALLY) and should be able to find it there on your own.
