Re: Wreckless Driving
Under the Virginia Motor Vehicle Code, Secs. 46.2-852 thru 46.2-868 list some sixteen or so violations that qualify under the Code as reckless driving, and all of which are classified as Class 1 misdemeanors.
In Virginia, Class 1 misdemeanors are punishable by a fine of up to $2500 and a term of up to one year in jail; either or both.
