Legal Question in Criminal Law in Virginia
Wrote(1)bad check to an automotive shop for the amount of $213.00 in 2002. Was later told in State of Virginia any amount over $200.00 is a felony, moved out of state unaware of charges. Returned in 2005, was pulled over for no inspection sticker and arrested on felony warrent. Went to court paid fines and fees. I am returning to school for advancement in employment, and felony is restricting necessary classes, need to know if felony expungement is possible and what steps I need to take if so?

No, you cannot secure the expungement of the record of a felony conviction in the Commonwealth unless you can prove that you were wrongfully convicted of the offense and have received a pardon from the governor.(See Va. Code Sec. 19.2-392.2 et seq.)
