Legal Question in Criminal Law in Virginia
About four years ago i was convicted of grand larceny which is a felony but i entered a guilty plea and got misdemenor of petty larceny my question is , is there a possibilty i can have it expunged because i have never been in trouble prior to this and it was 5 years ago and i have been in trouble since it was a mistake i made at 18 years old

The simple and short answer is, no, it is
highly unlikely that you would qualify for expungement under Va. Code Sec. 19.2.-392.2 et seq. under the facts described(in my opinion).
