Legal Question in Discrimination Law in Virginia

I feel that I was fired from my job under false pretenses.

Some time ago, I caught my boss having sex with a co-worker on the job. Now, on this date, I was fired from my job and the reason they gave me was that the company re-evaluated, and I did not fit into the team ''picture''. I know that I was fired because of what I knew about my boss and my co-worker. She has less experience in this job than I do and she does not have the education that I do. Also, I have never had a bad evaluation ever in this job and have never been repremanded for any problems in the performance of my job. I need help. AJ

Re: I feel that I was fired from my job under false pretenses.

If this is a private company doing business in the

employment at will jurisdiction of the Commonwealth of Virginia,(where employees work at the sufferance of their employers with few rights and protections), it is my opinion that there is no credible theory for the situation that you have described on which to bring legal action.
