Legal Question in DUI Law in Virginia

I was arrested this week for a drunk in public and I'm on probation with ASAP from my first (and last) dui, probation started in 3/10, still attending asap classes. Arrest for DIP was in Loudoun, dui was Fairfax . Scared to death to tell my ASAP counselor for fear of going to jail. Leaning toward not telling her and hoping it won't be discovered. Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

Unless you're required to tell your ASAP counsellor the news regarding

the new charge, don't tell her until you're required to do so would seem to

be the best approach to this situation (in my view).

Check to see what you signed off on when you went on probation with ASAP. In normal criminal cases, you are normally required to report to PO. Sheryl Shane, Attorney at Law. Web: www.sherylshanelaw.com. Tel. 703 503 4448.
