DUI with BOC .16 First Offense

I was told in VA. that there's mandatory sentencing for a BOC of .16 - This is my first offense with no Criminal Record and I've been on my job 21 years. I was stopped at Sobriety Checkpoint

There is a mandatory five days that you have to serve is your BAC is between .15 and .20. There may be some ways to deal with that especially since you were stopped at a checkpoint.
