Legal Question in DUI Law in Virginia

I was found guilty of a DUI in Virginia Beach a few years ago. I was given as a requirement a court order to go to Virginia alchohol and safety abuse program (VASAP)... I didn't. I ended up getting arrested and charged with failure to appear, it says on the court case information that the complaintant is VASAP. I spent 90 days in jail on this charge, in court my court appointed attorney told me that I wouldn't be required to take VASAP, and I definitely remember the judge saying "revoke VASAP" and I was put on unsupervised/good behavoir. I'm trying to get my liscense back now, and DMV is saying I have to take VASAP. Is there anything I can do about this? Arethere any court records I can get that show a more exact recording of the judge's dispostion? I've been looking online in the Virginia Beach Court Case Information site. Thankyyou anyone

You will need to attend asap , also known as vasap, to get your license back. You did not have to do it as a condition of probation, but you still need to do it to get your license back.
