Minor in possession by consumption. Violation of Va. Code Sec. 4.1-305. Penalties = Mandatory fine of $500 or the completion of 50 hours of community service, suspension of driving privileges for 6-12 months, possible enrollment in ASAP or other treatment/education program.

For a first time offender, disposition under Sec. 4.1-305(F)may be avaliable for deferment of proceedings with alleged violator placed on probation with enrollment in appropriate treatment/education program; no fine nor community service requirement. Successful completion of probation under this disposition means no record of any conviction.
