Legal Question in DUI Law in Virginia

Reciprocal DUI agreement

Does VA have a reciprocal DUI agreement with PA? In other words, if I lose mt driver's license in VA, will I also lose my license in PA?

Re: Reciprocal DUI agreement

YES...a suspension of your license in VA will mean a license suspension in PA...if you drive in PA and get caught you are looking at 90 days minimum in the County Jail and a $1,000.00 fine.

Both states are members of the Interstate Compact. PennDOT probably will suspend.

Yes they have a reciprocal agreement. If Va takes your physical license, it is unlikely another state would issue you one. If Va just suspends your privilege to drive in Virginia, that does not necessarily mean you cannot drive in another state
