family problems
My brother lives in Virginia and has been tqaking care of our alcoholic father and he is getting to be more thatn he can handle and at this time I have been disowned. How do we attempt to have him committed because there are children living in the same house hold and my brother and father have a verbal agreement that my brother would live in the house and take over and my dad would go get a smaller place for himself. He did for a while and moved back in and is threatening to throw them out with 2 kids and one on the way.. What can we do?

Re: family problems
That's a tough spot and there may not be a lot you can do. Your brother needs to consider how to find a roof for his family. I think it's best to bury the hatchet with your father and make amends and get the family all in harmony.
Good luck.
