Legal Question in Family Law in Virginia

In 1993 I was convicted of domestic violence. (I didn't do it) In 1996 there was a federal law saying I cannot bear arms. Today I am an executive protection officer. All the members of my team are armed. I wear a vest to protect me from gunfire but can only shield who we are protecting if lethal force is required, I am fortunate that we protect well loved people. Is there any way I can get that conviction off my record?? This was done in JDC so its sealed but for my purpose and job, it will be access by law enforcement. Please help.

If the record of your juvenile conviction was under seal, it should not

have been disclosable to federal authorities unless you admitted to it

on your application for federal employment or later.

I know of no mechanism under Virginia law to expunge the records of

convictions of juveniles which have already been sealed.
