Legal Question in Family Law in Virginia

My 3 month old child's dad left the house, I do not know where he is, I have filed for custody and child support and am waiting for my court date. My question is during the time I have to wait for my court date do I have to let my child's father come and visit her? or is it fine if I deny him from seeing my baby?

Is his name on birth certificate? Are you married. There may be paternity issues.
