Abandonment?
I am leaving my husband next month,when my kids r out of school for the summer. He wants to stay in the house for another year with my 14 yr old while I live at my moms with my 10 yr old. If I leave the home, is that considered abandonment? If so, how do go about getting seperated from him for the required 1 year until I can get a divorce?

The mutual agreement between you and your husband as to where each party will live during the required year of separation would foreclose any possibility that you could be charged with abandonment. If you wanted, you could put the agreement in writing and have it witnessed by and affixed with a notary's seal for extra embellishment.
