Legal Question in Family Law in Virginia

I'm being accused of child abuse and I'm being threatened to be placed on a registry if I don't attend a meeting with CPS. The mother already admitted to beating her son, but since the beginning they have been trying to force her to say it was me. I've already talked to detectives about it but the lady at CPS is after me for this. I feel like if I talk to her, either way they're gonna blame me for it. It isn't going to court yet and no charges have been filed. Is there anything I can do about this or am I obligated to answer any more questions?

It would seem that it's high time that you retain the services of legal counsel to represent you

in this matter who is appropriately experienced in the domestic relations laws of the Commonwealth

and the operations of its Child Protective Services agency and who should be able to fend off this lady

who you believe is now hounding you.
