Legal Question in Family Law in Virginia

Adult child with learning disability

My 19 year old son was diagnosed with ADHD when he was six. Later he was put in LD classes, and eventually he was put in a school that to get help with Emotional Disorder. Now his father wants to put him out of the house. What can I do legally to protect my son from being put out when he isn't emotionally ready?
