Legal Question in Family Law in Virginia
Adult child with learning disability
My 19 year old son was diagnosed with ADHD when he was six. Later he was put in LD classes, and eventually he was put in a school that to get help with Emotional Disorder. Now his father wants to put him out of the house. What can I do legally to protect my son from being put out when he isn't emotionally ready?

As a presumable owner of at least a one half undivided interest in the whole of your marital home, you have the right to allow your son or other persons to live there whether or not your husband approves. And your husband has no legal right to act unilaterally to have such persons removed.
