if a current partner in a local law firm commits adultery with a married woman with 4 small children-is there any recourse?

The crime of adultery is rarely prosecuted but it does remain a potent ground for divorce.

Recourse? For what? Virginia many years ago abolished the civil action for alienation of affections, if that's what you have in mind.
