Legal Question in Family Law in Virginia

What age is legal to stay by self overnite

My ex girlfriend and I have 2 daughters together and she has an older daughter from a previous ex. I am married and have 3 daughters with my wife. In the last year my ex has filed for divorce from her husband of 5 years and has been dating various different men. 4 or 5 that I know of. With one of these men she stays out all nite and doesn't come home til the morning, meanwhile her ''other man'' is hanging around the house with my kids. I don't know this man but my kids are 13 and 14 and their sister (my exes daughter) is 15. The kids have also said that they don't like this man cause he won't go away! My other problem is that she stays out all nite on the weekends and during the week sometimes doesn't get home until after 10 or 11. My kids are fixing themselves dinner and putting themselves to bed before she gets home. My question is, in the state of VA, what is the legal age that a child can stay overnite by themselves with no supervision from an adult. Also, does it matter that the older sister is almost 16?

Whatever info I can get would be helpful. Thanks

If your daughters are ages 13 and 14 and possess normal mental faculties for children of that age, they're old enough to stay overnight by themselves without adult supervision.
