can alienation of affection be used in a divorce case in the state of Virginia?

Alienation of affection is not one of the recognized fault grounds for divorce in Virginia.

Nor is it recognized any longer in the Commonwealth as the basis of a civil suit to recover damages for the person who was allegedly wronged.
