Legal Question in Family Law in Virginia

Am i allowed to be around my boyfriends children

On my boyfriends legal documents after he & his ex-wife went through their custody case and he has primary custody of his children. The courts issued a clause in the papers because at the time, his ex was living with a man. The statement says, neither party can have a person of the opposite sex around the children during visitation. They are now divorced and at the time they were not. Now she has re-married but he & I are not yet. I am around the children but his ex says that I'm not supposed to be because of the paper written in 2006 on the custody form. Is she right about that? Her boyfriend at the time, was a drug user & very unfit and we just assumed that it applied to THAT kind of person. I love those girls just like they were my own and I don't want to have to stop being around them but I will if I'm NOT supposed to because of legal issues. Would you please advise me on this.

The original order of the court regarding custody will control if and until it is modified. Your boyfriend would need to move for such modification to get the original order changed.
