What exactly must I do to get amansipated? I need to know what paperwork I need to fill out and any other important details I have to attend to.

I would suggest that you give further study to the issue of legal emancipation of a minor in Virginia before actually deciding to pursue it. There may be a pamphlet with the pros and cons on the subject available at the clerk's office in the local courthouse or at the local library.
