Legal Question in Family Law in Virginia

Amicable divorce in VA

My (soon to be ex-) wife and--name removed--last lived together in Arlington VA ~1995. She still lives there. I now live in Australia. Our children are adults living elsewhere. All property and financial matters have been settled to our mutual satisfaction, and there are no more such entanglements. We are interested in getting as simple and quick a divorce as possible (maybe a ''Joint petition for divorce'' leading to an “agreed order”).

-- What is the best of your forms for us? And Do we need a use a VA divorce lawyer?

--name removed--tried to submit this same question a few minutes ago but am not sure that it got through because my internet browser froze -- so--name removed--resubmitted- sorry]

Re: Amicable divorce in VA

As noted in my previous answer, turning it over to a Virginia lawyer would obviously be easier for your wife, but she could also represent herself "pro se" in the matter as noted.
