Annulment

How difficult is it to get annulment in Va. and what are the grounds or most relied upon grounds?

Re: Annulment

You can bring a suit for annulment based on fraud, duress, insufficient age, bigamy, defective licensing or solmniazation, violation of kinship intermarriage, or lack of capacity to consent to the marriage because of mental incapacity or infirmity. You can also bring the suit if your spouse suffers from impotency; if the your spouse was convicted of a felony without your knowledge; if the wife was carrying a child of another at the time of the marriage or the father fathered a child within 10 mo of the marriage; or your spouse was a prostitute prior to the marriage without your knowledge.

Short of any of the above you'll have to file for divorce grounds.
