Legal Question in Family Law in Virginia

Why can't I appeal?

I went to court for 14,000 back child support. I didn't pay because I lived w/ the father & child. After I left him he persued child support & won. The judge stipulated no appeals. Why? Why did he not take into account we lived together? By the way the child is w/ me & does not want to live w/ dad. She's 15.

Re: Why can't I appeal?

Much more information would be required in order to even attempt an answer to this question.

(Appeals from a judge's decision in a Virginia Juvenile & Domestic Relations District Court (J&DRDC)are normally a matter of right if they're taken within the proper time frame.)
