Legal Question in Family Law in Virginia

I need to apply for guardianship for my mother. If I can do it without lawyers or courts, I would appreciate the help. My mother has Dementia/Alzheimers.

Go to your local Juvenile & Domestic Realtions Court and explain to one of the clerks as to why you would like to be appointed guardian over your mother.
